Section 48(3) in The Petroleum And Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Conduct Of Business, Receiving And Investigation Of Complaints) Regulations, 2007
(3)The Board may, by order, direct that any information, documents and other papers and materials produced before the Board or any of its officers, consultants, representatives or otherwise which may be, or come into, their possession or custody, shall be confidential or privileged and shall not be available for inspection or supply of copies, and the Board may also direct that such documents, papers or materials shall not be used in any manner except as specifically authorised by the Board.
