Section 2(3) in Bihar Shops & Establishments Act, 1953
(3)"day" means a period of twenty-four hours beginning at midnight:Provided that, in the case of an employee whose hours of work begins before and extend beyond midnight, day means a period of twenty-four hours beginning at the hour his work commences;
