Section 42(4) in The Punjab Habitual Offenders (Control and Reform) Rules, 1957
(4)On the expiry of the apprenticeship period, the settler shall be given work as far as possible on the contract system of payment by piece work, the worker being paid at least 3/4th part of the estimated value of the work done by him.
