(2)The Director shall be a whole-time salaried officer, shall hold office for a term of three years and shall be eligible for reappointment:Provided that, the Executive Council may, if it thinks necessary, appoint a Teacher, not below the rank of Lecturer, to discharge the duties of the Director of Students' Welfare in addition to his own, and in such event the Executive Council may sanction a suitable allowance.
