(2)On the occurrence of a vacancy referred to in sub-section (1), the president shall forthwith report the fact of such vacancy to the [State Government] [Substituted by the A. O. 1950 for (Provincial Government) which had been Substituted by the A. O. 1937 for (L.G.).].
