UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
When the matter was taken up Shubhlata (daughter-in-law of petitioner) appeared in person to oppose the prayer and submitted that her husband (son of petitioner) has filed a divorce petition and 5th May, 2014 is the next date fixed for hearing before the District Court, Chadigarh. She further states that the petitioner and her in laws including her husband has not handed over the certificates to her. Learned counsel appearing for -2- the State has also made similar submission and stated that even the passport, certificates and jewelery etc. has been taken away by the in-laws and the husband.
In the present case, we find that the dispute is between the husband and in-laws in one hand and the wife/daughter-in-law on the other hand and to give quietus to the dispute we ask the complainant whether she intends to settle the dispute which she agreed. In the circumstances, we allow the petitioner to implead Shubhlata (wife of Anil Kumar Channa), Anil Kumar Channa (son of petitioner) and Mr. Ashok Kumar (husband of petitioner) as party respondent nos. 2,3 and 4 respectively. Amended Cause Title be filed within two days.
Petitioner, her husband, son i.e. respondent nos. 3 and 4 and complainant respondent no. 2 will appear in person on the next date to find out whether the matter can be amicably settled.
Post the matter on 2nd May, 2014 at 1.30p.m. in Chamber.
In the meantime, interim order dated 7th March, 2014 shall continue and there shall be stay of divorce proceedings filed by respondent no. 3 against respondent no. 2 pending before the Court of District Judge, Chandigarh.
