Section 3(4) in The United Provinces District Boards Primary Education Act, 1926
(4)A board, if called upon by the [State Government] [Substituted by the A.O. 1950 for (Provincial Government) which had been Substituted by the A.O. 1937 for (L.G.).] so to do, shall, within a time to be specified by the [State Government] [Substituted by the A.O. 1950 for (Provincial Government) which had been Substituted by the A.O. 1937 for (L.G.).] submit a scheme to provide compulsory primary education in such area as the [State Government] [Substituted by the A.O. 1950 for (Provincial Government) which had been Substituted by the A.O. 1937 for (L.G.).] may direct, and in the case of children of either sex or both sexes as the [State Government] [Substituted by the A.O. 1950 for (Provincial Government) which had been Substituted by the A.O. 1937 for (L.G.).] may specify.
