In view of the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in W.P.(Civil)No. 113 of 2008 (Prabhu Dayal vs. Union of India & Ors), the pendency of the writ petition will not come in the way of Income-tax Settlement Commission in disposing of the matter before it in accordance with law.
