Section 27 in The Gujarat Drugs (Control) Act, 1959
27. No prosecution without sanction. - No prosecution for any offence punishable under this Act shall be instituted, except with the previous sanction in Greater Bombay of the Commissioner of Police, and elsewhere of the District Magistrate.
