(1)An abstract of the rules relating to the conduct and treatment of prisoners shall be read over to every prisoner as soon as possible after his admission into jail, and proper means shall from time to time thereafter be taken by the Superintendent to make every prisoner acquainted within the purport of all such rules for the time being in force.
