FACTS:
2. The appellant sought information pertaining to incorrect reply received from NIT Uttarakhand dated 16.10.2015 pertaining to advertisement for appointment of nonteaching staff in his earlier RTI dated 11.09.2015. The appellant filed second appeal before this Commission.
DECISION:
3. The appellant complained that the post of junior assistant was given to a candidate who got less marks than him in 2014. He wanted to know the details of appointment. The Commission directs the NIT, Uttarakhand to provide the certified copies of file notes, the comparative table prepared for selection committee, the reasons and qualifications of candidates who are selected, that is, Mr. Amit Singh, Mr. Ajay Singh and Ms. Pooja along with reasons for rejection of the appellant, within 25 days from the date of receipt of this order. According to Page 1 the OM of Dept of Personnel & Training, Govt of India, dated 2962015, the University has to provide all the details regarding the selection of posts to all the candidates, on the official web site, so that nonselected candidates know the reasons for rejection without filing RTI applications. It has a duty to tell the appellant why three candidates who got marks less than his marks are selected. Disposed of accordingly.
