Section 3(1) in Uttarakhand Special Area (Planned Development and Promotion of Tourism) Act, 2013
(1)If the State Government is of opinion that any area is of special tourism importance in the State and it needs to be developed in a planned manner, it may, by notification, declare such area to be a special development area for the purposes of this Act and also if required, propose theme of development.
