Section 13(3) in The Orissa Timber and Other Forest Produce Transit Rules, 1980
(3)Checking station shall remain closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. No forest produce shall pass a checking station when it is closed between these hours except with the previous permission in writing of the Divisional Forest Officer, in whose jurisdiction, the checking station is located :Provided that checking stations on National Highways shall remain open throughout the day and night.
