54. [ Election to be by system of proportional representation. [Section 54 was substituted for the original by Bombay 30 of 1954, section 21.]
- Every election to any authority of the University made under this Act and every recommendation for the nomination to the office of the Vice-Chancellor under this Act shall be made by the system of proportional representation by means of a single transferable vote by ballot in such manner as may be prescribed by the Statutes.]
