Section 18(1) in The Haryana Municipal Citizens' Participation Act, 2008
(1)There shall be a ward information and statistics committee consisting of three members, to be nominated by the chairperson within one month of the constitution of the ward committee in each ward, for various developmental and planning works. It shall also appoint from amongst themselves, one person as the presiding member, who shall preside over the meetings.
