(4)[Every Tribunal shall, subject to the provisions of section of 47-A] [Substituted for the expression 'Every Tribunal shall' by section 3(1) of the Tamil Nadu Inam Estates and Minor Inams (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Amendment Act, 1975 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 1975).], have the same powers as are vested in a Civil Court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act V of 1908), when trying a suit or when hearing an appeal.
