Section 29 in The Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities Act, 1970
29. Appointment of salaried officers.
Subject to the provisions of this Act, the members of the technical staff of a corresponding University shall be selected by the Head of the Department in consultation with the members of the Department concerned, recommended by the Dean or the Director of Research or the Director of Extension Education, as the case may be, and appointed by theVice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board.
