Section 5(c) in Himachal Pradesh Technical University Act, 2014
(c)to provide for education, research and training in such branches of Engineering and Technology, Sciences, Pharmacy, Management and Arts, as the University may deem fit, for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in such branches;
