Section 77(4) in The Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1994
(4)It shall be a condition of every permit that taxes shall be paid in respect of the vehicle in accordance with the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Motor Yan Karadhan Adhiniyam, 1991 (No. 25 of 1991) and the rules made thereunder. When the Transport Authority has suspended a permit for non-payment of tax the order of suspension shall be in force as long as the tax remains unpaid and shall become inoperative immediately on payment of the tax due on the vehicle.
