- On receipt of requisition from an officer on tour or any other traveller for supplying vehicles or other articles to enable him to prosecute his journey, the police-station officer shall do his best to meet the demand, and may also adjust the rate of hire to be paid for the vehicle required or the price of any articles provided. The amount paid shall be duly receipted and entered in the general diary and the station cash account. A duplicate copy of the bill shall be kept filed with the receipts taken from the actual sellers of the supplies or drivers of the vehicles supplied.(See also section 8 of Bengal Regulation XI of 1806.)
