(4)[Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained; if the number of persons selected in accordance with the above mentioned provisions is less than the number of posts required to be filled, by direct recruitment, the Court may select persons to fill the remaining vacancies even from amongst those advocates who have not applied under rule 19 but fulfill the qualifications laid down in clause (ii) of rule 8 and are considered to be fit for appointment to the service.] [Added by F.19(36) Jud./67 G.S.R.15, dated 18-6-1969, Part IV(C), w.e.f. 18-6-1969, pages 55-56]
