Section 259(1) in Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964
(1)In any [municipal area] [Substituted by Act 36 of 1994 w.e.f. 1-6.1994.], no person shall establish in any premises any factory, as defined in the Factories Act, 1948 (Central Act No. XIII of 1948), without the previous written permission of the municipal council.
