- Books brought by a prisoner or which are sent to him in excess of the number specified in the preceding rule shall be kept with the Superintendent who shall keep a list of such books and they may be issued to the prisoner in exchange for the books that he may already have in his possession. All such books shall be returned to him when he is released.
