(3)[ (a) If a tenant, who pays rent in crop share, is willing to pay rent in cash at the relevant maximum rate specified in Section 11, he may, after giving to the landlord an intimation in writing in that behalf and sending a copy of such intimation to the Tahsildar, pay to the landlord rent in cash at the relevant maximum rate, in lieu of rent in crop share.(b)Once a tenant pays rent in cash under clause (a), the rent in crop share shall be deemed to have been commuted into cash rent and no rent shall thereafter be recoverable in crop share.]
