Section 5(1)(a) in Andhra Pradesh Teachers (Regulation of Transfers) Rules, 2012

(a)Those who have completed 8 years service in a particular school as on 1st July of the year shall be compulsorily transferred. The service in all categories of posts rendered in a school prior to and after up-gradation/bifurcation in respect of upgraded/bifurcated schools shall be counted for the purpose of calculating the completion of 8 years of service.
