Facts:
1. RTI application dated 1 October 2010 was preferred before the CPIO, Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi by the appellant to obtain information pertaining to status of workshop instructor as faculty in Diploma Technical Institutions along with file notings - enclosed herewith as Annexure A.
2. The RTI application was forwarded under the provisions of section 6 (3) of the Act to AICTE.
3. Vide order dated 20 January 2011 the first appellate authority directed the CPIO to furnish the requested information to the appellant at the earliest as per the provisions of the Act.
4. Appellant preferred second appeal before the Commission.
5. Matter was heard today. Respondent was present as above in person. Appellant did not appear. CPIO stated that information had been provided to the Appeal : No. CIC/DS/A/2011/000621 2 appellant vide letter dated 14 December 2010 and again on 21 October 2011. In the first letter appellant was informed that his request to include workshop instructor as faculty in Diploma Technical Institutions would be put up before the committee for the consideration and decision. However later due to changed circumstances appellant was informed that the workshop instructors did not come under the purview of AICTE.

6. Commission is satisfied that information as sought by the appellant had been already furnished to him. Case is closed.
