Section 401 in Rajasthan Land Revenue (Land Records) Rules, 1957
401. Instructions for Sadar Qanungo.
- In order to keep the Collector in close touch with the land records work in the district, the Government has created the post of Sadar Qanungo, who as already stated in Part V, is intended to be his executive and advisory officer in all matters pertaining to land records. One of the principal duties of the Sadar Qanungo is to watch the monthly progress of work done by the Inspectors and Office Qanungos and submit a monthly report to the Collector as directed in Paragraph 318. Much good will be achieved if the Collector lends the Sadar Qanungo the necessary support and insists on the proper discharge of his duties.
