1. Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties.
2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner has prayed for the following relief:-
"1) Issue writ, order or direction holding UPERC (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum) Regulations, 2022 ultra vires to the provisions of Article 13 of the Constitution of India as it abridges the legal remedy available to consumers of Electricity by repealing the existing "The Electricity Regulatory Commission (CGRF & Electricity Ombudsman) Regulation, 2007" and restore the "The Electricity Regulatory Commission (CGRF & Elecricity Ombudsman) Regulation, 2007".
2) Issue, writ order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the order passed in Case 15344/25 in hearing dated 20.06.25 by Consumer Grievance redressal Forum, Allahabad."
3. Upon perusal of the order dated June 20, 2025, we find that the same is cryptic in nature and appears to have been passed without proper application of mind. Counsel on behalf of the petitioner submits that the order impugned is non executable, and accordingly, prays that the same may be quashed and set-aside.
4. In light of the above, the order impugned dated June 20, 2025 is quashed and set-aside with a direction upon the authority concerned to grant another opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and thereafter pass a reasoned order in accordance with law.
5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
