Section 9(2) in Orissa Prevention of Blackmarketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities (Conditions off Preventive Detention) Order, 1979
(2)Any detenu who wishes to add to or modify to his diet on the ground of health but is unable to do so at his own expenses, may apply to the Superintendent of the Jail. After the applicant has been medically examined, the Superintendent of the jail may order such addition or modification to his diet as he may consider necessary on medical grounds.
