Section 76(1) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(1)When any juvenile or child is produced before a Magistrate other than Board or Committee, and the Magistrate is of the opinion that such person may be a juvenile or child, he shall record his reasons and pass an order for the juvenile or child to be produced before the concerned Board or the Committee on the same day.
