(10)The Chancellor may, by order in writing annual any proceeding of the Senate, Syndicate, Academic Council or any other authority which is not in conformity with this Act, the Statutes, The Regulations or the directions issued under subsection (9):Provided that before making any such order he shall call upon the authority concerned to show cause as to why such an order should not be made and if any cause is shown within a reasonable time, he shall, after giving an opportunity of hearing if so deemed proper, consider the same.
