The [Board of Revenue] [Words substituted by Bengal Act 5 of 1915.] shall, by an order published in the [Official Gazette] [Words substituted by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937.] fix the date from which the cesses leviable under this Act in any district or part of a district shall take effect therein, and may fix and from time to time alter the date from which the cess year shall run in any district or part thereof.
