ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for APCPDCL.
2. The Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents for not considering the petitioner's Mee-Seva Application dated 25.03.2022 for providing electrical power supply to her house bearing D.No.21-35 in S.No.964 of Karamchedu Village and Mandal in Prakasam District, inspite of payment of the requisite fee through Mee-Seva, as illegal, irregular, arbitrary and violative of provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and Rules framed there under and offends Articles 14 2 and 21 of the Constitution of India and for a consequential direction to respondents to issue electrical power supply to the said premises.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, submits that though the petitioner had sought for electrical supply by paying the requisite fees through Mee-Seva on 25.03.2022 and submitted the relevant documents, the electricity supply is not given to the petitioner's premises and the petitioner is subjected to prejudice and great hardship. He also submits that though the respondents have issued a notice intimating the reasons for not providing electricity to the petitioner's premises, the petitioner responded to the same by addressing a Communication dated 01.08.2022 furnishing the relevant documents. He submits that despite the same, so far as the electricity/power supply is not sanctioned to the petitioner. He submits that under the said circumstances, having no other alternative, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court.

Learned Standing Counsel for the APCPDCL, on the other hand, while drawing the attention of this Court to the Communication dated 01.08.2022 addressed to the petitioner submits that if the petitioner complies with the objections and 3 submits the documents through Mee-Seva, the application would be considered and if the petitioner is entitled, the service connection would be granted.

In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate application to the concerned officials of APCPDCL through Mee-Seva by enclosing the relevant documents and on making such application, the same shall be considered in accordance with the Rules and Regulations, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of the application. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
