Section 254(2) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920
(2)[ The council may-(a)place the collection of such rents and fees under the management of such persons as may appear to it proper; or(b)farm out such collection for any period not exceeding three years at a time and on such terms and conditions as it may think fit.]
