Section 12(2) in The Maharashtra Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) Act, 2006
(2)On payment of money in accordance with sub-section (1), any person in custody in connection with the offence shall be set at liberty and no proceeding shall be instituted or continued against such person in any criminal court.
