(1)This Act may be called the Bihar Electricity Duty Act, 1948.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar.(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [The Act came into force on 1st October, 1948, see Notification No. 2588 F, dated the 1st October, 1948, in B.O.R.O. Volume I, Part VIII and published in Bihar Gazette (extraordinary) dated 1.10.1948.] as the [State] [Substituted by para 4(I) of the A.L.O. for 'Provincal'.] Government may by notification, appoint.
