Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for U.T. Chandigarh informs the Court that the alleged detenue namely Krishan Kumar @ Banti was wanted in FIR No.99 dated 22.03.2020 registered at Police Station Sector 39, Chandigarh. He was arrested in the said FIR on 02.06.2020 and has been produced before the Magistrate on 03.06.2020 and sent to judicial custody. There are other FIRs also registered against the alleged detenue.
Counsel for the petitioner, in the light of the fact that the detenue Krishan Kumar @ Banti has been produced in Court and has been sent to judicial custody, prays for withdrawal of the present petition as having been rendered infructuous.
Disposed of as such.
