Section 2 in The Jammu and Kashmir Instruments (Control of Noises) Act, 1959
2. Definitions.
- In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-"instrument" means a loud-speaker, an amplifier and such other apparatus for the play of sounds as may be declared to be an instrument under this Act by the Government.
