Section 1 in Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board Act, 1976
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board Act, 1976.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Punjab.(3)Chapters I and II shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act and for different areas of the State.
