Section 14(3) in Karnataka Samskrita Vishwavidyalaya Act, 2009
(3)The Dean shall be Head of the Faculty and shall be responsible for the conduct and maintenance of the standards of research in the Faculty. The Dean shall have such other functions as may be prescribed.The Dean shall have the right to be present and to speak at any meeting of any Board of the Studies or Committee of the Faculty as the case may be, but shall not have the right to vote there at unless he is a member there of.
