Section 2(b) in The Maharashtra Textile Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1982
(b)"Company" or "textile Company" means Messrs. Vijay Manufacturing Company (Private) Limited, Badnera, or, as the case may be, Messrs. Western India Spinning and Manufacturing Company Limited, Bombay, being companies as defined in the Companies Act, 1956, and having registered offices in the State of Maharashtra;
