Section 2(xxvi) in Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
(xxvi)"general election" means the election held under this Act for the constitution or re-constitution of a Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti or Zila Parishad, as the case may be, after the expiry of its term or otherwise;
