ACO Put up the writ petitions on November 28, 2018 under the heading "To Be Mentioned" to enable Mr. Dutta, learned Advocate General appearing for the official respondents to apprise us the stage the recruitment process for appointment on the post of 'Medical Technologists' has reached as well as the number of candidates, who have been found prima facie eligible to participate in the recruitment process. Mr. Dutta shall also apprise us as to whether it has been decided to short list candidates having regard to the number of applications received.
Mr. Ray, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners shall also obtain instructions on the point as to whether the proforma respondents comprise the class of aspiring candidates who succeeded before the tribunal or not.
For the present, the interim order, passed earlier, stands extended till December 21, 2018 if not directed otherwise in the meanwhile.
