Section 26(3) in The Prisons Act, Svt. 1977 [Jammu and Kashmir]
(3)No prisoner shall be discharged against his will from prison, if labouring under any acute or dangerous distemper, nor until, in the opinion of Medical Officer, such discharge is safe.
