1. Issue notice. Mr. T. Singhdev, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent no. 1. Notice be served upon respondent no. 2 by all permissible modes, and in addition upon Mr. Kirtiman Singh, learned W.P.(C) 11142/2020 Page 1 of 2 Standing Counsel for respondent no. 2.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has not been permitted to appear in the DNB Examination, 2019 to be held in February, 2021 for want of an additional qualification certificate recognising the degree of Masters of Surgery, conferred upon him in the batch of 2011-2014. Mr. Singhdev, learned counsel for NMC, states upon instructions that the Post-Graduate Medical Education Board of NMC has taken a decision on 05.01.2021 to recognise 2011-2014 batch of MS Degree holders for additional qualification registration. Mr. Singhdev will place a short affidavit on record to this effect within one week from today.
3. Mr. Kirtiman Singh is requested to take instructions in the light of the statement made by Mr.Singhdev and assist the Court on the next date of hearing.
4. List on 19.01.2021.
5. In the event the DNB Examination date-sheet is released before the next date of hearing, the petitioner is at liberty to file an application for advancement of the date of hearing.
