Section 5(2) in The Gujarat Ayurved University Act, 1965
(2)With effect from the date on which his section comes into force, all institutions situate in the State of Gujarat and functioning immediately before the said date as institutions recognised under Section 27 of the Gujarat Medical Practitioners Act, 1963, shall be deemed to be admitted to the privileges of the University and the University shall, so far as it may be consistent with this Act, admit each such institution to the privileges of the University as an affiliated college, recognised institution or as the case may be, approved institution.
