Section 91(1) in Kerala Cooperative Societies Act, 1969
(1)The functions of the State Co-operative Union shall be-(a)to organize, assist and generally develop co-operative societies;(b)to carry on co-operative propaganda; and(c)to spread education on co-operative principles and practices.(d)[ to participate in the developmental activities and decentralized planning of the local authorities; [Inserted by Kerala Act No. 1 of 2000.](e)to organize training programmes for the employees of the societies and for the members of the committee and to ensure their participation in such programmes.]
