Section 10(1) in The M.P. Accommodation Control Act, 1961
(1)The Rent Controlling Authority shall, on an application made to it in this behalf, either by the landlord or by the tenant, in the prescribed manner, fix in respect of any accommodation-(i)the standard rent in accordance with the provisions of Section 7; or(ii)the increase, if any, referred to in Section 8.
