Section 7A(3) in The Punjab Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1952

(3)Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 an offence under this section shall be conginzable:Provided that no police officer shall be empowered to arrest without warrant unless he is of or above the rank of an Assistant Sub-inspector.
