Section 8(8) in Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (Transmission Open Access) Regulations, 2005
8.2Such transmission system plan shall cover a plan period of five (5) years commencing from the financial year immediately following the year in which it is published:Provided that the transmission system plan shall be updated by the State Transmission Utility each year and published in the manner specified in Regulation 8.1 by the 30th day of September each year and shall cover a plan period of five (5) years commencing from the financial year immediately following the year in which it is published.
